>>57015774If you're just looking to learn the basic rules - maybe. The rules are simplified to a level where certain mechanics have been completely removed. In some ways, that's actually an advantage for Pocket, but it might stunt you when transitioning to actual TCG.
In terms of learning how to actually play, Pocket and TCG are worlds apart. If only certain things in Pocket are "bullshit", most meta decks in TCG are based on incredibly broken cards. In many ways, Pocket is a more "pure" experience, where the basics of the game matter more than fighting your own deck and drawing 20 cards a turn.
