I'd say announcing the mainline Gen I-III games + other spinoffs on NSO for the sole purpose of having something enticing to the majority without needing to shove out another new game and at least waiting until 2025 for some shitty remake and 2026 for Gen X.
Launch RGB that day, GS and RS over two weeks each then save Y/C/FRLG/E until the end of the calendar year and you'll shut up the consoomers whilst giving the devs another year for new games. It's as perfect as it is effortless.

Though given the prior years what I expect is a Let's Go! Johto and both Pinball games, plus next gen being 2025, having learned absolutely nothing.
