I never understood why Magnemite was a Steel type until today. Two things: One, ball bearings are silver, which gives off the appearance of a metal ball. (A LOT of steel types have either grey, or silver in their designs. It's meant to simulate the flash that happens when light strikes its surface.) And two, ball bearings can generally be said to represent 'O'. And that letter also happens to look like a steel ball. So neat.
