I've decided to play Pokemon Insurgence. After getting used to the classic RPG Maker jank, it's surprisingly fun.
I've just gotten the second badge, and have barely gotten through the game desu. And it's somewhat difficult. I've lost to both gym leaders at least twice now and a few random trainers.
Muk has been a huge MVP. Being a ground-type with Sap Sipper helped immensely in the Grass/Poison gym.
Also if any of you dislike the alternate forms of the Pokemon for the game, there is an option to turn them off and it will just give you the normal versions of the Pokemon instead.
