>>50196028Pretty much digimon have very malleable forms and are able to metamorphise in far more effective ways. In digimon it's very easy to see a scale in power. For example an adult will lose to a perfect which will lose to an ultimate. Obviously exceptions do exist. Snimon and Tuskmon from the OG were beating up a couple of perfects, Zeromaru from v-tamers made it a hobby of beating digimon who are an entire level above him. So it's not impossible to have a weaker species of digimon beat a stronger species of digimon. But it's generally a good rule to follow.
