>>47583059You can argue the same thing happens in most Pokemon games, but it's really noticeable in XY. As just about everything, including route design, gets thrown to the back burner. The most significant thing though, was the story. Lysandre isn't the only thing that does a 180. The story itself flipped. There's all these little interactions, titbits and plot holes that can only be explained that they were going in a different direction at first. It was clearly meant to be far grander than what we got.
