This is very true. I think this board is going to be in for a rude awakening when they find out that normies do not give a singular FUCK about the "national dex".
To 99% of players, pokemon = pick your fun starter, explore the world, beat the final boss, collect few special pokemon in the end game, then put the game down and never touch it again.
There isn't going to be some massive uprising against Gamefreak like you see with the temper tantrums all over /vp/.
