Almost all of these creatures can understand human speech if given enough time, some of them can even fucking talk, or hell, are hundreds/thousands of times more intelligent than humans (Metagross and Alakazam). But on the flip side we see in Pokemon Sword and Shield there is fucking curry made out of Kingler and in the anime we see people eating Magikarp. Were these Pokemon humanely killed?
