Game Freak allows Nintendo to make their own full Pokémon game that isn't a core game but it'll be done by one of Nintendo's in-house development teams.
The game will not feature all Pokémon, but it will be a big open world game with its own region and story where the routes are actually roads but not in their own map.
Pokémon in the wild will be on-map and there's no extra battle transition to a separate map, where you meet them is where you'll fight them. The game will have its own little spin on the traditional battle system, but will mostly stay the same as it is in the core games.
If you take too long in a wild battle, another wild Pokémon that is nearby might join in, and if you walk into a Pokémon while another one is directly next to it, it will automatically trigger a double battle.
If you battle with NPCs nearby, they'll turn to you and watch you, cheer on you, etc.
Pokémon that follow you react to the environment depending on their personality, the Pokémon you've put out to follow you but aren't the ones battling will stand aside but watch and react. If you enter a Pokémon fight will riding a Pokémon, you'll fight while still riding until you put that Pokémon in the front-line.
You can do the Pokémon gyms in any order and they scale with you level-wise.
You can find a flying Pokémon expert that teaches you how to fly with big flying Pokémon once you obtain a certain amount of badges, allowing you to go anywhere. Similarly, you can also find a water Pokémon expert that teaches you how to ride on water Pokémon to cross rivers and bodies of water.
Is this a game you'd want, /vp/?
