my first playthrough, I didn't just use a team of 6. I used damn near everything. and yeah I got my ass handed to me, but that's besides the point.
do you know why I did it? because the game, every fiber of it, told me to catch pokemon, and to train pokemon, and it gave me a vast range of creatures begging to be used. and yeah it wasn't optimal, and I got my ass handed to me on a regular basis, but since when has Pokemon been a game that you play optimally?
