No matter how you look at it, pokemon is not balanced. Not in any way, shape or form.
And using any pokemon you want simply because you get fun out of it is a bullshit argument. Smogon was created so that both players in the battle would have fun. Not just you. Therefore shit like lock-on sheer cold Smeargle and Swagger Klefki are not allowed. If you want fun, they made Anything Goes. This way you can use literally anything you want, that way you can have fun. But you also lose because others make strategies so that they will almost undoubtedly win, such as Moody Smeargle or Mega Rayquaza.
