>>41260287Actually that brings up a good point: Literally the only father I can think of that we've ever seen onscreen is Norman. Every male parental figure is a grandfather. There's just a bunch of mothers around. It's like the Pokemon World is a giant MILF-lovers' wet dream. Most of them don't even MENTION fathers.
Of course the reason for this is probably Japan's deeply ingrained momcon fetish but let's leave that aside for now.
