Letting people online has led to breakthroughs before in the past, especially on 4chan (Foot Lettuce, ISIS base that got it's coordinates exposed, HWNDU flag, 9gag meme rock coordinates) so asking online, not even on 4chan could possibly lead to more and more being discovered
