Psychic gym's Solrock's solarbeam was also a fucking dick to play against. Bide tided me through Torkoal/Slaking, moveset was Surf/EQ/Bide/something.
>ManectricI always get an electric type if its convenient (started in G/S/C with mareep), moveset was bite (crunch?) and 3 electric moves because there wasn't anything else to teach it. The abundance of flying pokemon and water routes made grinding levels easy.
