>>55309865Wallace is someone she hates cause he acts like a posh fancy-pants faggot. Diantha has a better attitude to her.
She doesn't default hate the League trainers but how do I explain it...she wants to CRUSH THEM for trying to act like their system is the PEAK of Pokemon Training and that EVERYONE should go into it and abide by it or base everything around it. Cause at the end of the day the Pokemon League is just a sport. It's not an actual basis of power or ability. But yet the League and the people who follow in it's footsteps act like they are the peak of Pokemon battling when Emily has learned ever since her loss to Cynthia and the year to follow that the actual peak of combat prowess with Pokemon is far higher than anyone could actually imagine. So she hates the League because of it's conceited notion that it thinks it stands at any sort of pinnacle and she hates all its practically lying and folly coddling it does and views it like a herding of sheep. A physical and mental containment.
Some higher standing League Trainers are fully aware of what the system is doing, like Geeta and her total bureaucracy or Lance's dragon clan elitism. She hates them.
There are some who are partially aware but resist it somewhat like Drayden probably would and how he'd likely want the removal of the stigmatism behind Dragon training and all the clans bullshit but he knows he can't just tackle it brutishly head-on like Emily intends to. Emily is particularly fond of people like Drayden.
And then there's people just unaware and sheep-minded like Kukui who just don't know any better and can't even imagine a peak beyond a Pokemon League. She pities said people.
Emily doesn't HATE Cynthia but she still wants to crush her for having beaten her before. Emily's the "eye for an eye" type of girl.
