Then somehow get a job at Game Freak. Masuda initially only made the music for the games, so it seems like it doesn't (or at least it didn't) matter which position exactly.
And then somehow work your way up to Masuda's position. This step could prove difficult, as in my experience promotions rarely have much to do with talent or hard work, and a lot with being liked by the right people.
