About Pokemon being slaves: When you consider how they always seem excited to battle, and how happy they are to be with trainers who love and care for them, are they really slaves? If a Pokemon wants to leave its trainer or wipe them out of existence, it has more than enough power to do so. But regardless of that, Pokemon continue to coexist amongst humanity and stay by their trainer's side. That's why Pokemon are companions and friends, not slaves.
