We've had plenty of meta threads pointing out how autistic fanboys are (Gen 5 fans in particular) and the motives for making threads like these. These people don't make these threads looking for info or criticism. They make these threads because they got mad that someone made an offhand diss about a game in a different thread, so then they feel the urge to make a centralized thread just to argue. More posters know that this is the case nowadays hence why these threads don't get as many replies as they used to, but I guess some people still think there's a chance of getting through a fanboy's ego.
