>>21662027but this is different. the pokemon have abilities, battle in turns, and even have type advantages against pikachu! it seems like they're trying, compared to the other seasons. for me, that last scene zooming in on the diamond's mega evo symbol meant that it's adding to the lore. might be just me, but that's why this is a theory. i'm taking all the evidence i have and connecting it together. maybe once oras comes out i'll reorganize it for game canon only, but so far the game offers far too little.
