>>41979368I think if there weren't already four? other penguin pokemon this would be pretty beloved. Also I don't believe it is lazy as much as it is sort of offensively caricatured. Despite this I like the design very much. It uses its palette effectively, enjoys a legible concept, and is in fact pretty judiciously assembled. This is to say that, although I would have predicted fans hating this thing on its face, I couldn't deliver a more effective version of Eiscue than designed. I particularly like the shape of the beak and the suggested eyes.
