Yeah, it's called Mewtwo Returns. It was a 74 minute TV Special that aired in North America on December 4th, 2001. This takes place during the Johto seasons and follows up on what happened to Mewtwo and his clones. Ash, Misty and Brock run into Mewtwo's hideaway with all the clones, and Giovanni is looking to recapture Mewtwo after it escaped from him in the first movie. Really good sequel

Hot take. Feels like a solid ova that keeps a lot of the great elements of the first movie without the cheesier parts. Mewtwo is a cool badass runaway you care about. Stakes are low enough to not feel overblown.
