Trying to build a balanced team for both Clair and the Elite 4. Right now I'm considering using my fr-eevee to get a Jolteon. However it's natural defense is trash, like Alakazam/Electrode relies on OHKO to be viable and scares me. The only remaining catch I have is the Whirl Islands and honestly it's dicey because muh randomization. Glaceon is another choice but then I'm still fucked for water.
I could teach ice beam to Tentacruel, and none of Clair's mons run electric attacks, Kingdra is a real threat though. But that leaves Lance who does run electric. Plus his Gyarados having waterfall scares me because I can't jut out tank it with Tyranitar.
I can teach Lucario dragon pulse so he can cover fighting/ghost/dragon with aura sphere/dark pulse/dragon pulse and metal sound to debuff. But I won't get that opportunity until after Clair. I fear for my team /nuzgen/, there be dragons.
