That said, a lot more than the rivals are why I liked BW. Idiot Ash was fun to watch, I enjoyed attract spam, not bad COTD (an Anon above was right when he said a lot of episodes are good stand alones), Ash having a rotatable team was based and I really dug new shit added like pic related and competent rockets.
All in all the series had a lot of personality. I like XY, but mostly for Serena's journey (that hair cut scene was the greatest in the season)
