Chesnaught bursts out of his pokeball on his own. While granted, the hedgehog was high on your priority list for mons to send out, you didnt expect him outright busting out on his own.
>'Then again it wouldn't be the first time..'Chesnaught hits the ground with a thunderous THUD, but that isn't the only impact he makes. It becomes clear rather quickly the battlefield's sandy terrain is a crucial drawback to a mon of his stature.
"Chesssssssssn!" Chesnaught pounds his fists together, ready and raring to fight after being out of the winner's circle for a while, unaware that his weight is causing his legs to slowly sink into the sand, hindering his movement.
"HAAAAGAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Just then, before you can warn Chesnaught, the Steelix remerges from the pit, or at least--part of it does.
"C-Che!" Chesnaught grits his teeth and steps back to take in the sight before him. He crings at the shimmering sight of the Steelix's crystsllized stinger, a glistening, rainbow-colored beauty.
And it's coming right for him.
