Ah man, here we go sorry for my autism in advance, this turned out to be WAY longer than I thought it would
>As far as Pokémon go, it wasn't too hard to pick; the 6 I chose all have a pretty deep story behind them for why I would want them by my side. I’ll go in reverse order:
>Starly- Ever since I was a little kid watching snippets of the anime on my parent's old TV, I've loved Starly. Sure enough, one fateful day all those years ago, my mom let me pluck a little Starly figurine off the shelf to keep as my own, and to this day I have it sitting on the shelf right over my shoulder, one of my only surviving physical items related to Pokémon outside the games themselves.
>Torterra- How could I not want Torterrabro? Really, though, Torterra means a lot to me; he was my very first Pokémon in my first Pokémon game, the Pokémon that guided me into the Pokémon world and fostered my love for it. First to be nicknamed by me, first to evolve fully, first to be part of my team that took me all the way through the game to defeat the E4, he was full of firsts, capturing my love of Pokémon just one among them. I still get sad when I jump into Diamond to go catch some Pokémon and see him sitting in my box, forever locked to Diamond because silly 9yr old me put Rock Smash on him.
Miss you, Torterra; wish you could've joined me on my Unova and Johto adventures.
