Memes aside, he is great and I'm tired of pretending like he's not here. His popularity, moreso with the fangirls, and the generation he's from has caused people, especially here, to have an insanely irrational hatred towards him and anyone who likes him. Opinions are opinions sure, but I'll say this: N is not a perfect or perfectly written character and I don't know how he measures up to the standard JRPG Anti-hero/Antagonist (even today), however he's one of the best Pokemon characters in my book.
