I would be from Unova originally, but I moved to Kalos as a middle schooler. Starting out young, I'd work my way through the gyms, picking up a girl on the threshold between Lass and Ace Trainer, teaching her the ways of being an Ace while traveling the land with her.
Since I have shit taste, there'd be a burgeoning romance that I'd try to ignore since she's younger than me (the difference between 16 and 19 is pretty big for many people) and I'd finally confess to her just before Victory Road only for her to confess that she shares my feelings but was too nervous to approach me.
Then we'd both get our shit stomped in an incredibly anti-climactic 6v6 double battle at the entrance to Victory Road by some faggot in a blue jacket and bib-cap with god damn Xerneas and a Mega Charizard X.
