I've spent the last few hours crying like a bitch and am finally ready to accept that I'm done with this franchise. I'm tired of trying to convince myself I like the things Bandai/Namco puts out, tired of believing things are gonna get better, tired of putting my money towards something I don't really enjoy, tired of being disappointed.
I will always treasure the memories Digimon has given me and will gladly replay games from Digimon World 1 to Hacker's Memory from time to time, maybe try the occasional romhack, but as far as any upcoming products, I'm done, I've tried over and over to reignite my enthusiasm but no matter what, the fact of the matter is that when I look at the new stuff I can no longer recognize the franchise I fell in love with in any shape or form, it has mutated into something I would rather pretend it doesn't exist.
