Soaring is stupid in the context of Pokemon games. It's not like older JRPGs like DQ and FF where you have a big overworld to explore. Instead you have a set of specific routes and towns you can easily access otherwise. The only way it could ever effectively work in Pokemon is if they add a fuckton ton of areas you can only access through soaring, and not just the measly amount you have in ORAS.
