Giving it a replay since it's around 6 years old and I typically replay a lot of my Pokemon games. Heres my pros and cons
Pros
>region is comfy, I like the group of kids you travel with, they're not great characters tho>PSS is great>good amount of Pokemon in almost every route >Amie and Super Training are handy>good musicCons
>battles are handholdy, too many trainers even in midgame have only 1 Pokemon>3d models lag in battle if there's more than 2>KANTOOO pandering hurts uniqueness of Kalos>locales are nice but there's not a lot of wilderness. Many locations are manicured gardens or beaches until Mountain Kalos>routes are noticeably simplified with nonsensical borders at times>I'd like to pull the camera back a bit so I can absorb the lay of the land better>Power Plant blantantly unfinishedIt's not the worst game I think, nor is it as bad as people like to meme about here, but overall it comes off as anemic in what made earlier games so rich, its like the 2% milk of Pokemon.
