anyways pokemon design autism with proportions and shit is one of my favorite topics, but i'm busy. I'll point to blastoise: Looked super cool in the Blue Cover art, and the GSC and RSE/FRLG sprites, where he has fangs, a bulkier lower jaw, longer limbs and with actual fists and claws, wasn't as far and has curved cannon ports rather then rectangular ones
a lot of other depictions, especially lately, give him stubby limbs with tiny hands, geometric cannon ports, and make him super fat and wide
