Looks pretty fantastic. Angrier/more mature Bulbasaur with a flower bud rocks.
>Charmeleon
It's definitely got that awkward teen feeling. It's a weird mix between Agumon and Charizard, and it's a bit bland in design.
>Wartortle
It looks unique, almost to the point where it could've been its own thing.
>Bayleef
Actually looks great. Maybe it's just the leaf on its head, but if it had antennae like Meganium, I wouldn't like it as much.
>Quilava
It looks pretty good. Simple without being awkward.
>Croconaw
LOL. If it wasn't so rounded off in the face and didn't have its stupid Fred Flintstone garb, it would look 10 times better.
>Grovyle
Arguably better looking than Sceptile. It looks more sleek and agile. Just like with Bayleef, I think it really is the leaves that make it so much cooler.
>Combusken
I like this mon, but it definitely has that awkward teenage feel. If it had a more varied face and got rid of Torchic's little head crest, and maybe had a bit of Blaziken hair, it would look a lot better.
>Marshtomp
Textbook example of the awkward teen stuff, but I actually like it. It's a bigger Mudkip with a change in anatomy and some Swampert features. Also the official artwork makes it seem like it doesn't have one of those fuckhuge mouths but it does in all other media.
>Grotle
Actually very well designed. It's different enough from Turtwig but also transitions into Torterra very well.
>Monferno
Mixed bag design wise. It pulls off the matured Chimchar look pretty well, but some design features look out of place. Fucking blue eyebrow thing.
>Prinplup
I hate this for some reason. It could be described as a Grotle-esque transition, but I can't quite pin down what's wrong with its stupid face.
>Servine
Its whole line save Serperior is fucked. First Snivy has limbs, and then it doesn't. It looks alot less regal, has those stupid little leaf hands, and that ear raping EEEEEEEEEE it does in gen 5 doesn't do it any favours.
