>>34499428I expected the battle to be costly, and I was right. It was pretty intense. Shuffle managed to burn Claydol, but Claydol was faster and one shot Destiny with a critical Earthquake. I sent in Bandit to assist Shuffle in killing Xatu, and it was sheer luck that they never gamed up on Shuffle with double Psychic. Unfortunately, Shuffle couldn't oneshot Xatu, so I had to sacrifice Bandit to heal Shuffle so she could finish it off, and then Tregal killed Claydol with Leaf Blade. Fighting Solrock and Lunatone was a matter of swapping between Macrauder and Tregal so they could avoid Solarbeam and Flamethrower, respectively. All this time Lunatone was attacking Shuffle with Psychic, but I kept healing her up. Lunatone got the Special Defense drop so I had to swap out Shuffle. Tregal managed to kill Solrock with Leaf Blade, but she was pretty worn down at this point. As I swapped out Shuffle for Macrauder, expecting a Psychic, Lunatone instead went for a Psychic on Tregal, which I didn't see coming, and killing her. Volf helped Macrauder finish it off. We made it with our lives, but Tregal's death is a demoralizing one. Volf swears to lead on, in her name.
