>>54409592They really should've just went with rose being a total "holier than thou" "has to be remembered as a hero" character. So much of the plot could've been fixed like this. He could've been a slightly more sane do gooder version of Cave Johnson who was obsessed with science and being the one to solve world crisis.
It sucks too because he was paved to be a much better antagonist than a lot of previous ones by being a manipulative freak who tries to be friends with the player, and just being in the intro makes him stick out, but he deflated like a balloon.
Also this might be a nitpick but it would've been kino if Rose himself was the one using Eternatus. Bad guys using legendaries is always fun (Movie Giovanni, Ghetsis and Lusamine are my favorite villains for a reason).
