>you seem to think that more = better when it couldn't be further from the truth. Quality over quantity is key. There's nothing saying we can't have Quality AND quantity. BW2 managed to offer both of those just fine while USM lacked both when compared to the DS era and even Emerald.
>Who cares about Medals I imagine more people than you think. Just because you didn't like them doesn't stop other for enjoying it. I could just as easily say who cares about photo club and bp surfing in USM but that'd be wrong despite me not caring for either.
>How do the Memory Link, Medals and Sprite animations (just to name a few examples of your list) impact the franchise the way new Pokemon do? Memory link added to the story from bw1 giving players some explanations about what happened between the time skip among other things.
Medals were a cool way to implement achievements into the games and gave plays more reasons to play the games longer
Sprite animations? Cosmetics are always welcome.
> And no other third version lives up to that as much as USUMSorry anon but I will never consider a worse story, story inconsistencies, A worse battle factory, Ultra hallway and Ultra corridors as the best 3rd version ever
> It's basically DLC, yet people complain USUM is DLC.There's a difference between 5 buck DLC and paying 40 bucks for a game people played a year before.
>I do think the Battle Tree is better than the Frontier btw. It's just a tower clone and it doesn't even have triples and rotations anymore.
>Battles are fair mostlyI'll be the odd man out and say I'd have gladly preferred trainers not having access to megas and Z-moves. It's already a pain in the butt as is without more tings for screw players over and having to restart the long grind to a 50 streak.
