Gen 5 will always be remembered as that odd ass acid trip generation where the Pokemon are simply shitty as fuck and there wasn't actually any other purpose for battles or even a goddamn Pokemon league because it didn't even look like Ash was serious about winning it. Just take a look at his fucked up as hell team that was a total insult to the glory he built in DP. It was a shame too, seeing that BW had such a huge potential for a serious story.
If it wasn't for XY fixing that bullshit that was BW, Pokeani would've been unsalvagable.
