It turns out my map has a iny little bit of room where there is black space (the red box, blue being the space that route 10 occupies, and the magneta being black space that is buffered appropriately) if you line it up with a max sized route 10, so i was wrong about that, and I apologize. Also ocean and dead ends totally shouldn't count for buffer, but that's another topic
The general issue of people being told incorrect info, mapchat not communicating with each other, and the QC thing is still a problem, though
