I don't think I've ever been hard carried by an early route shitmon as hard as in this run. Hypnosis+Mud Slap is OP as fuck and Oth is simply amazing.
Neither Ice punch user could oneshot any of the Dragonairs. Politoed's Hypnosis and Umbreon's Flash kept missing. Half the team was paralyzed and in the yellow by the time Kingdra was in the field. Gyarados got hit by a crit Hyper Beam in the switch in and barely survived. I really thought the run was over. Then Noctowl sweep in and singlehandedly saved the day, effortlessly landing a Hypnosis after dodging a Smokescreen and then spamming Mud Slap and Fly to victory. Kingdra didn't even manage to land a single hit on Noctowl before the battle was over. I imagine the reason Clair didn't want to hand over the badge was because she was jealous of how cool my dragon killer birb is.
