More Echidna like instead of Hedgehog (so really just extend its face out a bit), browner in colour and the grass being drier 'bush grass' to look like the quills. Along with something like a Waratah flower to replace the Gracideas, just cause a Waratah is reasonably standout on the continent. Sky forme, nonsensical as it is, would still be flying type, but more in a jumping sense. Turns it into a bit of a Bilby-like animal instead. Waratah petals or beads rounding its neck.
