>>48352486Maylene down. Again, my team was just not good for her.
Team - Medicham, Gallade, Infernape, Machamp, Toxicroak, Lucario. My Plan A was to lead Mr. X, get up Reflect and spam Bulk Up in her Medicham's face with Lefties recovery and dodge some crits, Sub so her Lucario couldn't revenge me, hit it to its Sash, then follow up with another hit to kill as she healed. And that worked out great. Then her Infernape killed me with critical Fire Punch. :(
My Plan B was Black Mask wielding a Life Orb and ripping through her team with Wing Attack, however this would only work if her Machamp was dead as I could not oneshot that without a crit while it could kill me very easily, and Medicham only managed to take down Medicham, Gallade and Lucario. In hindsight, I probably should have sacked Maestro given Crasher fuckin Wake is the next major boss, but I was tilted from Mr. X's death and wasn't thinking straight so Black Mask unfortunately joined his buddy. Ultron finished the battle.
RNG was both good and bad, only one death in Malekith, but that's a big death considering what's to come. Need to plan out which area I should go for next, but I'll likely go back and grab a Grass type starter from one of the starting towns.
>>48352917If you haven't fought him yet, I'd recommend bringing Linoone, it does have Mud Sport which could possibly come in handy. Breloom is also extremely good versus Wattson.
>>48352668Thanks, you too. Fairly unique team for Hoenn's E4.
Other than just upgrading moves (Mud Shot -> EQ, Ember -> Flamethrower etc.) there's not a ton of movepool edits you'd want. Maybe stuff like Rain Dance on Manectric, Ice Beam on Swampert/Kecleon for Drake, the works.
>>48353050Likely going to run through either RR again or Rejuv Intense next run, so I'll take that as a warning lol. Her team does look monstrous at that stage of the game
