In the end if it is possible or not possible is not something we can truly know or really something that matters, and one anecdote of double kick or some cherry picked images is not going to prove anything to anyone but the most 60IQ drooling retard, in the end I think it's not about laziness or time constraint but a new direction, the same pokemon will be available in other games in the future, ones they excluded from this game, and I think that ultimately is for the better because it will make the games both easier for gamefreak to balance and optimize as well as make them distinct from one another without having to have or resort to some sort of outrageous gimmick, even though I don't mind those personally.
I don't buy the games to begin with since I don't have the money to, I just pirate them, so I don't really feel entitled to complain too much, and if anything I rather like the new decision
