It just seems me and Famon have similar posting styles so sometimes people confuse our posts
I stopped "flaming" on Horizon series because I already expressed all the criticism I had for it and in order to have a better criticism sometimes you need to step back and give it a better look from a larger scale which means you unironically have to try entering the new series with a sense of immersion and submerging at a certain episode
Otherwise even watching the series is pointless if you're not watching it per se but just ticking off boxes in your notebook for rant fuel which is important but it is anti thetical to the original purpose of watching anime as a concept
Ranting and actual criticism is undeniably important so that you can visually see how your thoughts stack up
You always gotta write it down because when it's just in your head it's just schizo imagination stuff
But it's also important to let your thoughts have a chance to flow and change or else you end up repeating the same stuff over and over which is boring and stifles your development as a person
When I fall into the "identic postage hamster wheel" I usually try to vent with Fanfiction net
I said without referencing the ashnime because it turns the discussion into another hamster wheel
That is not a mentality that will lead us to self improvement
The best way to watch this series IMO is to try to think of it as a therapy
We have to embrace it for what it is 100% so that when it ends we can see its essence and value
So that when Ash inevitably returns you won't feel a sense of regret that all you did during these 4-5 years was just wasting time on the Internet but you yourself also grew as a person by immersing into alternative NON Ash stories
Ash has completed his adventure
We too must follow our own separate path
In a world inhabited by fascinating creatures, known to us as "Pokémon"
