Full version of Merumo's contest dress. At first I wanted to lean into yumekawa style but it was so obvious Little Prince had to be put in a prince costume that I ended up making them match. Finishing her took so long that I admittedly got lazy when I finally did draw Little Prince. Poor guy looks so flat in comparison. (His costume is from the 1950ies manga Ribon No Kishi btw.)

I know you should always study your art objects IRL but I can't figure out how to draw roses for the life of me; I just cannot wrap my head around how they are "built". And drawing something that you can't imagine in 3D in your mind is kinda impossible. So I stare at clear cut lines of clipart and just copy what I see there.

But then again I also kinda can't imagine my Pokémon OCs like that. IDK why. It's not like I wanna keep them "pure" or whatever. If someone wanted to draw lewds of them I'd be cool with that. Personally I just prefer drawing cutesy stuff.
