This shit is unbearable, I have no clue how I managed to get through even a quarter of it the last time I tried. Vulpix and Lee are both unbearably annoying protagonists, so I guess they're perfect for each other. Every single character also has this incredibly grating way they talk that can't even be put into words. It's like MCU quipping except instead of snarky quips and one liners it's pet names, sarcasm, and pseudo-science. I'm also convinced the only reason this author is autistically obsessed with everything costing more than a brand new luxury car is so they can justify their main character giving a single damn about pokemon battling instead of just having him do it on the side while he obsesses over pokemon. Too bad they didn't ditch the battling, this story would've been much better off for it. But hey, gotta go on about how a single eevee costs more than a car and that pokemon semen is a quintuple digit hustle. The readers need to know that their escapist fantasy setting is actually a dystopian grind, they will never afford any of the pokemon they love, and they'd be better off sucking dock dig for chump change.
