I don't get why this board has such a flaming hatred for Yellow over "animu pandering", like it seriously offends you that you have a Pikachu following you and the gym leaders have slightly different teams? Not to mention that it's GF's own fucking franchise so of course they wanted to put some connections with the show in there of their own volition, I don't think fans were begging them for a Pikachu starter game. The superior sprites compensate for these problems more than enough anyway.
