>>50085812Too bad the combination of of it being too japanese for westerners, the dumb articles calling it the "Pokemon Killer", people dismissing any monster-catching game that isn't Pokemon, and Level-5's own insane mishandling of the franchise pretty much doomed it into oblivion.
It's shame, there's a lot of cool designs in there but they opted to push the weird shit like fucking Cheeksqueek which already turned a lot of people off.
Then there's the fact that Level-5 really had no idea what they wanted to do with the franchise and threw a bunch of spinoffs and reboots that went nowhere.
