>>56286449When the Alola dex was new this guy was obscured by Golisopod for me since they shared a dual typing but with that past I've come to really like Araquanid. I think the only aspect of its design I find a little odd is the bubble joints on the legs, feel like they could have been made smaller. Amazing how its ability alone kind of saves it as a mon, it's effective in both casual and even some online play in my experience but it isn't a particularly fun mon to use unfortunately since you basically never are going to do anything with it but press liquidation for big damage. Access to sticky web gives it a nice utility option but beside that I wish it had just a little more going for it, it can kind of wall some stuff but not enough to really serve as something to pivot into. As a bugfag though it's a great addition and my second favorite of the spidermon in the series. Also really nice shiny, rare example of a shiny that I might call as good as the base color even.
