In my headcanon, Bugs and some Grass-types die very quick, most mons have a lifespan of one to several decades with life expectancy greater in proportion to its evolutionary stage, Rock- and Steel-types can go for centuries and Ghosts don't so much die as one day they just decide to pass on to whatever comes next. Most legendaries also live for centuries, and Ho-Oh, the Sinnoh deities and possibly the Unown are immortal but not deathless.
