Look at Bisharp for example: he looks like he's waiting in line at the cash register. If they gave his legs a wider base and had his arms doing something other than just being limp at his sides, this would be a perfectly fine pose.
Compare it with his pose in Gen V. He stood still, but it looked dynamic and like he was actually in a fight.
