>>37924788I spent over 800 hours on my Diamond cart until it unfortunately was stolen. I had never had this amount of fun with a Pokemon game before and Platinum only expanded it even further. Competitive was always the best it has ever been, with a properly estabilished metagame that allowed you to experiment and build teams in so many different ways without getting stuck with the same smogonshit as nowadays. Being able to win tournaments with my favorite Pokemon was such a nice feeling.
Also, I know is an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely love almost all of the new Pokemon and evolutions introduced in Gen 4. Weavile, Roserade, Poygon-Z, Garchomp and many others were amazing Pokemon with amazing designs. To the day, Weavile remains along Jolteon as my absolute bro and I'd never take mine out of my team.
